One of the first things that stands out about Pain Perdu is its brunch selection. The menu offers a balanced mix of satisfying classics and lighter dishes, making it easy to find something that suits different tastes. During my visit, the Toast Goat Cheese was particularly memorable. The combination of textures and flavors felt well-balanced, creating a dish that was both comforting and fresh. Another standout was the Burrata Salad, which brought together simple ingredients in a way that felt vibrant and enjoyable.

For those who appreciate healthier choices, Pain Perdu also provides healthy options that fit naturally into the overall menu. This makes the restaurant appealing to a wide range of guests, whether they are looking for an indulgent brunch or something a little lighter. The Honey Walnut offering added another layer of variety, delivering a pleasant combination of sweetness and crunch that complemented the rest of the dining experience.

The drinks selection deserves attention as well. Pairing a meal with a Delta IPA can be a great choice for guests who enjoy craft beer alongside brunch. The beverage list works well with the food menu, helping create a complete and relaxed dining experience.

The atmosphere is another reason why Pain Perdu attracts a diverse crowd. Outdoor seating allows guests to enjoy their meal in the open air, especially during pleasant weather. What customers say?

“ We went for breakfast and sat in the courtyard. There were hardly anyone there, but it was busy inside and the front terrace too. The food was delicious and a normal breakfast for a good price. The staff was quick but lacked a little energy. Otherwise, we received good service. ”

“ I got a wonderful cappuccino and the kimchi croque (I’d’ve called it a kimcheesy, but that’s the American in me). My partner had the chicken Caesar sandwich which was quite nice but was a bit disappointed by the mint tea that didn’t consist of any tea. When they plucked up the courage to ask if the tea was forgotten, she was informed that’s just how they do it here. Seems a bit of a misnomer but it is what it is. Otherwise very tasty! ”

- Keegan Brenneman -

“ You have to wait a long time for basic service. I had to ask more than twice for a new fork after mine fell on the floor, and they didn’t bring one—I had to use my knife to eat. The chocolate and sauces were served in a way that others shared them, making it unclean and unhygienic. Even simple items like coffee or bread with chocolate required a long wait. The pain perdu not worth the price. Overall, the service was slow, disorganized, and the staff seemed overwhelmed. It’s not worth spending time or money here. ”
